John Scialabba Named to Who's Who List at SVC

John C. Scialabba, senior biology major of Butler has been named to the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was recognized as an outstanding campus leader during the annual Saint Vincent College Founders’ Day Vespers and Honors Convocation Thursday, November 17 in the Archabbey Basilica.
Mr. Scialabba, son of Anthony and Shirley Scialabba, serves as senior class president on the Student Government Association. He has been involved in many Campus Ministry mission and service trips and has done work in West Virginia, Florida, and Brazil. Mr. Scialabba works as a Sports Friendship Day Co-Coordinator and is a chemistry teacher’s assistant and biology department work study. He is a 2008 graduate of Butler Area High School.
The Who’s Who students are selected by campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory on the basis of their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students selected from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
