Joseph M. Yezovich, senior finance major and economics minor of Braddock, has been named to the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was recognized as an outstanding campus leader during the annual Saint Vincent College Founders’ Day Vespers and Honors Convocation Thursday, November 17 in the Archabbey Basilica.
Mr. Yezovich, son of Michael and Danette Yezovich, is a member of Delta Mu Delta Honor Society, a member of the Dean’s List and PAC Honor Roll. He is also the football team captain and went on a service trip to Taiwan with Campus Ministry. Mr. Yezovich volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters and works at the Saint Vincent Health and Fitness Center. He is a 2007 graduate of Woodland Hills High School in Churchill.
The Who’s Who students are selected by campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory on the basis of their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students selected from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
