Nicole L. Pleskovic, senior biology major of Johnstown, has been named to the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and was recognized as an outstanding campus leader during the annual Saint Vincent College Founders’ Day Vespers and Honors Convocation Thursday, November 17 in the Archabbey Basilica.
Ms. Pleskovic, daughter of Mike and Kathy Pleskovic, serves as a Residence Life prefect and Student Government Association senior class secretary. She is an A.J. Palumbo Research Grant recipient and member of the Dean’s List. She is a member of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church in Johnstown. She is a 2008 graduate of Bishop McCort High School.
The Who’s Who students are selected by campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory on the basis of their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students selected from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
