Four Bearcats End Collegiate Careers in Mexico

Four members of the Bearcat football competed in the 2011 Tazon de Estrellas game between Division III All-Stars from the United States and a team from Mexico.

Taofik Amokomowo, Aaron Smetanka, Armando Fortunato and Anthony Johnson took part in the "Bowl of Stars" game in Puebla, Mexico.

While the Americans ultimately lost the game, 45-27, SVC's Anthony Johnson led all defensive players with 13 tackles. Mr. Fortunato added two tackles, both of which were behind the line of scrimmage, and Mr. Smetanka completed a pair of passes in five attempts.
