Kayla J. Kuntz of Unity Township, a sophomore majoring in communication with a minor in marketing at Saint Vincent College, is working as a marketing intern at the Latrobe Area Chamber of Commerce under the direction of Andy Stofan, president.

Ms. Kuntz, daughter of Stephen and Carrie Kuntz, is a 2010 graduate of Greater Latrobe Senior High School.

A member of the dean’s list, Ms. Kuntz is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta (secretary), Orientation Committee, Communication Club, Activities Programming Board, Respect Life Club, The Company theatre group and the varsity cross country team.

Her internship at the Chamber of Commerce will include setting up a format for the group’s monthly e-newsletter, improving its Facebook presence, and a number of research activities.

Saint Vincent College’s internship program is an academic program which allows students to work off campus to acquire career-related skills, earn academic credit, and develop a professional network for future employment contacts.
