Dollar Bank recently made a donation to Saint Vincent College’s Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics, and Government in support of the 2012 Personal Financial Lecture Series. The fourth annual series will present Dr. Brett Hammond, managing director and chief investment strategist at TIAA-CREF, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15 in the Fred M. Rogers Center. His topic is “Electing the Market We Want: How Voting and Market Behavior Do and Don’t Reinforce Each Other.” The second speaker at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 12 will be Dr. Frank Murtha, managing director of MarketPsych, whose talk is entitled, “Game Changer: Behavioral Finance Changed the Way We Look at Investing.” Katy Carman, center, training specialist of Dollar Bank, presented the contribution to Dr. Gary M. Quinlivan, left, professor of economics and dean of the McKenna School, and Mark Abramovic, right, instructor in finance and coordinator of the series. Other contributors include Federated Investors, BNY Mellon, Hefren-Tillotson, The Second Half Coach and TIAA-CREF.
