SIX STUDENTS TO HEAD SAINT VINCENT COLLEGE FRESHMAN ORIENTATION IN FALL

Six students have been named volunteer leaders of the fall 2012 freshman and new student orientation program at Saint Vincent College, Latrobe, Pennsylvania, by Jason Winters, director of campus life. Left to right are Owen Barton, junior, mathematics major from Irwin; Abigail “Abby” Geisel, sophomore, communication major, from Schnecksville; Rachel Gettinger, junior, mathematics major from Creighton; Loretta Bobetich, sophomore, graphic design major from Duncansville; Caitlin DelSardo, sophomore, biology major from McKeesport; and Deven Gross, junior, sociology major from Pittsburgh’s Penn Hills. Mr. Barton, Ms. Geisel and Ms. Gettinger will serve as orientation directors and Ms. Bobetich, Ms. DelSardo and Mr. Gross will be event coordinators. They will head a committee of more than 100 student volunteers who plan and implement a five-week program designed to provide a successful transition to college academic, residential and campus life at Saint Vincent.
