Msgr. James Gaston, center, pastor of St. Margaret Mary R.C. Church, Lower Burrell, was the final speaker in the fourth edition of the Aging and Spirituality Lecture Series presented by the Saint Vincent College School of Social Sciences, Communication, and Education at the Fred M. Rogers Center on April 11. His presentation was entitled, “What Are We Afraid Of?” He was welcomed by Dr. Marybeth Spore, right, dean of the School of Social Sciences, and introduced by Fr. Vernon Holtz, O.S.B., left, associate professor of psychology. His talk discussed the spiritual values that are part of the natural diminishment that comes with aging.
