FOURTEEN POLITICAL SCIENCE STUDENTS INDUCTED INTO HONOR FRATERNITY

Fourteen Saint Vincent College political science students were inducted into the college’s chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, on April 19.

Inducted were, front row from left, Thomas F. Cocchi, Jr., of Pittsburgh (15243); Holden A. Diethorn of Latrobe; Bridget K. Fitzpatrick of Pittsburgh (15241); Elizabeth B. Grand of Murrysville; Alexandra C. Haggerty of Johnstown; and Aaron R. Kushner of New Castle; second row, James J. Lederach of Scottdale; James M. Orange of Latrobe; Greggory C. Reese of Greensburg; and Steven P. Sherman of Allison Park; back row, John R. Sigg, III of Bethel Park; and Anthony T. Weisenburger of Pemberville, Ohio. Missing from photo are Stephanie J. Kiesel of Irwin and Anna L. Steighner of Kittanning.

Also participating in the program were Dr. Gary Q. Quinlivan, dean of the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics, and Government; Dr. Gabriel S. Pellathy, professor of politics; Dr. Richard Saccone, lecturer in politics; Dr. Bradley C.S. Watson, Philip M. McKenna Chair of American and Western Political Thought and Professor of Politics; Dr. Jerome C. Foss, assistant professor of politics; and Dr. Jason Jividen, assistant professor of politics.

The Honorable James R. Kelly, senior judge of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, gave the keynote address.
