SVC PHYSICS DEPARTMENT HOSTS LECTURE BY DR. SCOTT PAULSON

Dr. Scott Paulson, center, professor of physics and astronomy at James Madison University, was a guest lecturer at the Saint Vincent College Physics Department on May 2. His talk was titled, “The Role of Physics in Biology.” Welcoming him were, from left, Phillip Meyerhofer, a junior physics major from Leesburg, Virginia, who did an internship with Dr. Paulson last summer, and Dr. Mohamed Anis Maize, professor and chair of the Physics Department. Dr. Paulson of Charlottesville, Virginia, is a 1994 graduate of Saint Vincent College and earned his Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina.
