Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will offer a seminar on Understanding Financial Statements on Tuesday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Financial reports are vital to business profit. Understanding how to apply them to decision-making is absolutely essential. QuickBooks®, Peachtree, Sage and other sophisticated computerized accounting software are capable of generating a large quantity of data. Participants will learn how to critically analyze this data to determine their business solvency, risk, and operating performance; enhance management decision-making skills and improve the bottom line by understanding complicated financial reports.

Senior business consultant Peter Tulk will be presenting. The fee to attend is $40 or $35 each for two or more. Coffee/tea set up and light refreshments are included as well as an optional one-year subscription (12 issues) to Inc. magazine, valued at $10.

Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center is part of a statewide system of university-based economic development organizations whose mission is to provide high quality education and consulting to entrepreneurs to help them start and grow their businesses in the competitive global economy.
