Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will host Six Steps to a Better Business, on Wednesday, September 19, at Saint Vincent College from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, with registration opening at 8:30 a.m.

Six Steps to a Better Business will provide attendees with systems and strategies that will help their business gain efficiency and grow. Participants will learn how to move their business to the top; gain control of time, team and money; take control of cash flow and profits; multiply and retain customers; increase revenue and profits, leverage team, systems, technology and marketing. Participants will also learn to work on their business, not in it; to recruit, motivate and retain a winning team of employees; and to avoid the top four common mistakes in advertising and turn their marketing into an investment, not an expense.

Presenter, Ken Sevick, has been successfully coaching and getting results for businesses since 2004 when he joined ActionCoach as a Certified Business Coach. ActionCoach coaches thousands of business owners and executives every year. Prior to becoming an Action Coach, Mr. Sevick spent 17 years as a buyer, manager, operations executive and human resources executive for Federated Department Stores.

The fee to attend this seminar is $40 or $35 each for two or more attendees. Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center is part of a statewide system of university-based economic development organizations, whose mission is to provide high quality education and consulting to entrepreneurs, to help them start and grow their businesses in the competitive global economy. Early registration is recommended, as seats are limited. To register or to obtain additional information, contact Saint Vincent College SBDC at 724 537-4572.
