SVC Music Department to Present Musical Theater Cabaret Sept. 20

Music majors and minors of the Saint Vincent College Music Department will present a musical theater cabaret at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 in the Luparello Lecture Hall in the Sis and Herman Dupré Science Pavilion. The program will be directed by Thomas Octave, assistant professor and chair of music, and Sonya Caceres, lecturer in voice. Admission is free and open to the public but donations will be accepted to defray expenses.

The program includes selections from the musicals Sweeney Todd, Anything Goes, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat, A Chorus Line, My Fair Lady and other Broadway shows.

Students who will be performing include Amanda Slowey, Lydia Gibson, Carolyn Smith, Ali Kertz, Josh Gongaware, Marla Crawford, Danielle Byrne, Ali Mientus, Amanda Sethman, Mary Kathleen Cassidy, Jonathan Pauley, Sheena Chopra, Chantal Braziel, Ed Graybill, Abigail Sugrue, Kara Laus, Rona Gehring, Jonathan White, Rebecca Skirpan, Mark Harris and Caitlyn Schratz.

Piano major Aaron Gray and Mr. Octave will be the accompanists.
