Saint Vincent College department of music will present an art song student recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10 in the Luparello Lecture Hall in the Sis and Herman Dupré Science Pavilion on campus. Admission is free and open to the public.
Works by Schubert, Brahms, Hahn and Hoiby will be presented.
Participants include Chantal Braziel, a sophomore music performance major from Pittsburgh (15235); Mary Kathleen Cassidy, a freshman music performance major from Bridgeville; Jon Pauley, a sophomore history major from Bethel Park; Amanda Slowey, a sophomore undecided major from Bethel Park; Abigail Sugrue, a freshman music major from Export; Steven Edward Graybill, a freshman music performance major from Pittsburgh (15215); Danielle Byrne, a junior music performance major from Latrobe; Rona Gehring, a sophomore music major from Robinson; Jonathan White, a freshman music major from Greensburg; Mark Harris, a sophomore music major from Belle Vernon; Marla Crawford, a junior biology major from Valencia; Josh Gongaware, a junior economics major from Irwin; Sheena Chopra, a continuing education student from Weriton, West Virginia; Carolyn Smith, a freshman music major from Washington; Casey Ciocco, a senior criminology, law and society major from Latrobe; Ali Mientus, a sophomore biology major from Sarver; Ali Kertz-Brooks, a freshman music major from Kirkwood, Missouri; Kara Laus, a sophomore music major from Carnegie; and Lydia Gibson, a junior music performance major from St. Marys.
Students will be accompanied by junior piano major Aaron Gray from Latrobe and Thomas Octave, chair of the music department.
