Saint Vincent Reception Honors Fu Jen Catholic University President

Dr. Vincent Han-Sun Chiang, B.M., M.D., left, president of Fu Jen Catholic University in Taipei, Taiwan, was honored at a reception and dinner at Saint Vincent College on Jan. 27, hosted by Archabbot Douglas R. Nowicki, O.S.B., center, chancellor, and Br. Norman W. Hipps, O.S.B., right, president. Also representing Fu Jen were Dr. Emily Chi-Mei Wu, director of the academic exchange center, and Dr. Cecilia Hsueh-Chen Liu, director of the program of western classical and medieval culture. Saint Vincent established Fu Jen in Peking in 1925. Student and faculty exchanges continue today as part of Saint Vincent’s historic relationship with China.
