SVC Legal Expert Bruce Antkowiak Will Be Guest of KDKA Radio's Mike Pintek Feb. 26

Bruce A. Antkowiak, Saint Vincent College professor of law and director of the criminology, law and society program, will be the in-studio guest for Mike Pintek’s Q&A Tuesday Show from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 on KDKA radio AM1020.

Antkowiak will be discussing the new book he authored, the Third Edition of Criminal Procedure in Pennsylvania: Elements, Analysis and Application, which has been published as a two-volume set. He will also take calls from listeners on a variety of legal topics.

In addition to being frequently consulted by members of the print and broadcast news media, Antkowiak also serves as the editor and principal author of the Pennsylvania Suggested Standard Jury Instructions – Criminal, and has published 11 law review articles in various journals across the United States.

He has been recognized with an honorary doctor of laws degree from Saint Vincent College where he served as commencement speaker in 2011.

Over his more than three decades as a practicing lawyer, Antkowiak has served as assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania and as a private practitioner concentrating his practice in the area of criminal defense in state and federal courts.

He has tried a multitude of cases including homicides, white collar crime and narcotics-related offenses. His appellate work includes numerous appearances before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Pennsylvania Supreme and Superior Courts.
