Saint Vincent College Department of English and the Saint Vincent College Center for Northern Appalachian Studies have announced the publication of a collection of poems set in and around the Saint Vincent campus, Latrobe area and other parts of southwestern Pennsylvania, entitled Welcome to the Dying Rose Knights. It was written by the late William Stubbs, a former member of the faculty.

Stubbs had been working on the collection during his retirement. After he died, the poems were set aside until 2010 when faculty secretary Shirley Skander found them in her files. With the generous support of several former colleagues and Saint Vincent College alumni from the early 1970s, the Center undertook the publication of the poems.

All orders for the volume are to be placed through the Saint Vincent College Bookstore by phone or online, 724-805-2557 or www.stvincent.bkstr.com. The price of the volume is $15 plus $7.95. UPS shipping and handling. Pennsylvania residents add 6% sales tax.
