SVC Jazz Band to Perform March 11

Saint Vincent College Music Department, part of the School of Humanities and Fine Arts, will present a program by the Saint Vincent College Jazz Band at 6:45 p.m. Monday, March 11 in the lounge of the Robert S. Carey Student Center. Admission is free and open to the public.

Members of the Jazz Band include Nicole Dunst, Nathaniel Porter and Calie Weimer, tenor sax; Patrick Diamond, Jonathon Jacobeen, Cathern Treece, Adam Warburton and Randy Kratofil, trumpet; Joseph Carroll and Mark Harris, and Noah Hemminger, trombone; Alexis Oropallo and Anna Wingard, piano; Casey Ciocco, percussion; and Elizabeth Miller, string bass.

The program includes many popular jazz favorites include Rockin Robin, Smooth, Proud Mary, Night Train, Tuxedo Junction, For Lena and Lenny, Birdland, Watermelon Man and Frankenstein.

The Jazz Band is directed by Scott DiTullio.
