Two Named to Saint Vincent Board of Directors

Two persons have been named to the Saint Vincent College Corporation Board of Directors, according to an announcement by Br. Norman W. Hipps, O.S.B., president.

Named were Judith L. Bacchus, vice president and chief human resources officer of Kennametal Inc. in Latrobe and Richard A. DiClaudio, chief executive officer and managing partner of Blue Tip Energy Management LLC in Pittsburgh.

Bacchus, who has more than 20 years of experience as a human resources professional, joined the corporation in April 2006 and oversees all Kennametal human resources responsibilities worldwide. Prior to her current post, she served as vice president human resources for Kennametal’s shared services, growth and segment functions and led the global talent acquisition team. She was previously human resources generalist – North America for the Marconi Corporation. She and her husband reside in Fox Chapel.

DiClaudio is a 1981 graduate of Saint Vincent College where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in finance. In his current position since 2005, he heads a private equity investment firm with offices in Houston, Denver and Pittsburgh that acquires, develops and sells U.S.-based, onshore, upstream energy assets for a select group of institutional portfolio investors. He previously served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of The Hillman Energy Group, Inc. He is a frequent guest lecturer on private equity investing, energy investing and U.S. energy security. He and his wife, Carole, have two adult children and reside in Oakmont.
