Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will host a seminar on planning and promoting your website on Thursday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to noon.
This program is designed for any business looking to start a website or to improve their existing one. Topics include website development stages, website costs, website templates, finding a web hosting service, considering affiliate programs, domain names, free website hosts, databases, business email, banners, measuring progress, hiring a website designer and creating and designing your own website.
The fee to attend is $40 or $35 each for two or more registrants. Groups may attend all five technology programs for an extra discount. Light refreshments are included as well as an optional one-year subscription (12 issues) to Inc. magazine, valued at $10.
Joe Polk, technology consultant and specialist will be presenting the seminar. Polk formerly worked as senior technical specialist with PennTAP (Pennsylvania Technology Assistance Program), web technology specialist with Marconi PLC and web developer with Management Science Associates in Pittsburgh.
Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center is part of a statewide system of university-based economic development organizations, whose mission is to provide high quality education and consulting to entrepreneurs, to help them start and grow their businesses in the competitive global economy.
