SVC Kicks Off Recruitment of Campus Volunteers for Latrobe Playland Project

Saint Vincent College President Br. Norman W. Hipps, O.S.B., right, kicked off the recruitment of campus volunteers for the Latrobe Playland project with a rally and presentation in the Robert S. Carey Student Center on March 20. Nick Killen, left, representing the Student Government Association, and Craig Shevchik, center, program director for Latrobe-Unity Parks and Recreation Commission, described the project and volunteer needs of the community effort which will take place April 23 to 28 at Legion Keener Park near downtown Latrobe.
