Bioethics Forum Planned for April 9

Saint Vincent College Department of Biology in the Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing will present Dr. David R. Brown of Fairfield University as the main speaker in its annual Bioethics Forum at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 in the Luparello Lecture Hall in the Sis and Herman Dupré Science Pavilion on the campus of Saint Vincent College. Admission is free and open to the public.

Brown, an adjunct professor of applied ethics at Fairfield University, Connecticut, and member of the Southwest Pennsylvania Environmental Health Project, has expertise in both environmental ethics and the science of toxicology.

He has a doctorate from the Harvard School of Public Health is a member of the National Academy of Sciences.

He formerly held positions at Northeastern College of Pharmacy and Allied Health as well as the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
