Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve Gets Marketing Grant

Beth Bollinger, center, environmental education coordinator of the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve at Saint Vincent College, recently accepted a $2,000 Westmoreland County Tourism Marketing Grant from Westmoreland County Commissioners Charles Anderson, left, and Tyler Courtney, right, that will be used to develop marketing tools highlighting the reserve’s trails, gardens, natural play areas and historic Lochry Blockhouse. The Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve is a 50-acre reserve located adjacent to Saint Vincent College that provides educational and recreational opportunities for area residents and visitors.
