The American pop band Parachute, rock band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and indie rock group Maps and Atlases will perform in concert in the Robert S. Carey Student Center at Saint Vincent College at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, September 28. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Executive board members of Student Government Association have been working hard with preparations for the greatly anticipated concert. “We have three great groups coming,” commented Loretta Bobetich, secretary of SGA. “Since the concert does fall on the same weekend as Homecoming Fall Family Weekend, we are hoping to pull a very large crowd and have entertainment that is enjoyable for everyone on campus that weekend.”

Tanner Beal, vice president of SGA, enthused, “I’m very excited for the concert this year. After tackling last year’s concert, I’m ready for another round.”

Robert Tokarski, treasurer of SGA, admitted, “The fall concert is one that SGA has been working on since last year’s concert ended. We have put much effort into creating a concert that will not only be known about and enjoyed by Saint Vincent College students, but by the entire community of Latrobe.”

“The annual concert has become a great tradition that so many students look forward to,” Justin Teets, president of SGA, explained. “We have worked very hard to make sure that all of our fellow students will be happy with our selection.”
