Thirteen students attended Gregorian Chant workshops directed by Fr. Stephen Concordia, O.S.B., of the Saint Vincent College Music Department recently. Participants, from left, included Maria Sunseri of Greensburg, Schola Cantorum of Holy Family, Latrobe; Fr. Gregory Vu, O.S.B., Christ in the Desert Monastery, N.M.; Joel Kankewicz of Mountain Top, parish music director in the Diocese of Scranton; Fr. Stephen; Suzy Briggs of Ligonier, Schola Cantorum; Grettelyn Nypaver of Schola Cantorum; Dr. Ric Soto, chair of music department at Orange Coast College, Calif. Other participants included Margie Barish of Greensburg; Mary and Theresa Vanden Berk of Latrobe; Bill and Ruth Wakeland of Muncie, Ind.; and Nicholas Will of Carnegie. The group also visited and sang at St. Paul Cathedral, Pittsburgh, and Stanilaus Parish, Pittsburgh.
