Student Group Shipping More Than 550 Pairs of Shoes to Orphanages, Shelters

More than 550 pairs of used shoes were donated during a recent drive conducted by the Saint Vincent College Campus Ministry SWAG group (sacrifice, witness, adore and glorify) and are being prepared for shipment to Soles for Souls which distributes them to orphanages, shelters and low-income areas domestically and abroad. Lauren Donahue, right, Campus Ministry assistant director for social outreach and SWAG advisor, assists SWAG officers, from left, Mark Azzarello, a junior communication major from Moon Twp.; Andrew Razanauskas, a senior finance major from Zelienople; Ben Grassi, a sophomore marketing major from Jefferson Hills; Emily Davis, a sophomore history major from Harpers Ferry, W. Va.; and Zaza Yanosick, a sophomore communication major from South Fayette. Absent from photo are Alexis Zawelensky, a sophomore marketing and communication major from Uniontown; and Steve Sherman, a senior theology and political science major from Allison Park.
