'Intro to Marketing a Business' to be Held at SVC

Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will host Intro to Marketing a Business on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

This workshop is designed for business owners who are seeking to grow their businesses. In this workshop, participants will gain an understanding of basic marketing principles. Topics include market planning and strategizing what works best for each participant’s company, formatting a marketing plan, mission statement (what it is and why it’s important), planning a marketing mix and adding value through marketing methods.

The fee to attend is $40 or $35 each for two or more. A coffee/tea drink set up and light refreshments are included as well as an optional one-year subscription (12 issues) to Inc. magazine, valued at $10.

The Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center is part of a statewide system of university-based economic development organizations, whose mission is to provide high quality education and consulting to entrepreneurs, to help them start and grow their businesses in the competitive global economy.
