SVC Hosts Summer Singing Workshop

Saint Vincent College School of Humanities and Fine Arts Department of Fine Arts hosted the second annual summer singing workshop to provide private voice lessons, perform in master classes, learn about music history and vocal technique. The faculty includes Diana Walters of Grove City (left) and Thomas Octave, assistant professor of fine arts at Saint Vincent (right). The students included, from left, Tiffany Keffalas of Butler, a senior at Butler Intermediate High School; Amanda Sybert of Butler, a sophomore at Butler Intermediate High School; Emma Baime of Pittsburgh, a sophomore at North Allegheny High School; Ashlee Lamar of Indiana, a 2011 graduate of Indiana High School who will begin study in voice at Saint Vincent College in the fall; Brady Collins of Pittsburgh, a sophomore at Avonworth High School; Alison Kertz of St. Louis, Missouri, a senior at Kirkwood High School; and Anna Steighner of Kittanning, student assistant director and a junior at Saint Vincent College.
