The Saint Vincent College Center for Political and Economic Thought will host a luncheon on Friday, May 18 featuring remarks by Former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton at The Duquesne Club, 325 Sixth Ave., Pittsburgh. The event begins at 12 noon in the Club’s Walnut Room.
A lawyer and noted diplomat, Bolton has spent many years in public service. He served as the U.S. permanent representative to the United Nations from August 2005 to December 2006. From 2001 to 2005 he was Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security. He served as Assistant Secretary for International Organization Affairs at the State Department from 1989 to 1993. He is currently Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, where his research focuses on U.S. foreign and national security policy. He earned his bachelor of arts degree and juris doctorate from Yale University.
