CMU MATERIALS PROFESSOR GIVES BOYER SCHOOL LECTURE

Dr. Thaddeus Bronislaw Massalski, center, professor emeritus of materials science, engineering and physics at Carnegie Mellon University, gave a talk April 11 in the ongoing Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Computing Lecture Series in the Dr. Frank J. Luparello Lecture Hall in the Sis and Herman Dupré Science Pavilion at Saint Vincent College. He was welcomed by Dr. Paul Follansbee, left, James F. Will Professor of Engineering Science at Saint Vincent College, and Dr. Stephen Jodis, right, dean of the Boyer School. His topic was “Meteorites and Asteroids, Good and Bad.”
