James D. Garraux, center, senior vice president-corporate affairs and general counsel for U.S. Steel Corporation, was the main speaker at the spring luncheon lecture May 22 sponsored by the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics, and Government’s Center for Political and Economic Thought to benefit the Dr. Gabriel S. Pellathy Law Education Fund. Welcoming him were Gabriel Pellathy, Jr., left, of U.S. Steel and a 1995 graduate of Saint Vincent, and Dr. Gary Quinlivan, right, dean of the McKenna School. Mr. Garraux’s remarks were about recent trends and future impacts of manufacturing and the law. The event was held at The Duquesne Club in downtown Pittsburgh.
