Saint Vincent College Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics, and Government will conclude its special two-part public education series on personal financial planning on Thursday, October 18 with Tom Tomczyk of Buck Consultants speaking about health care reform at 7:30 p.m. at the Fred M. Rogers Center.
Mr. Tomczyk is a principal with Buck Consultants, one of the largest global full-service human resource consulting firms. The firm has 1,700 employees in 80 global locations.
“The presidential campaign has once again thrust health care reform onto center stage and we are delighted to have Tom discuss the impact that the outcome of the election could have on health care reform and health care delivery,” commented Mark Abramovic, instructor of finance and director of the business lecture series. “He will analyze the differences in the health care positions and strategies between President Obama and Governor Romney and the potential impact that the outcome of the election could have on employer health insurance plans as well as individual insurance plan options, Medicare and Medicaid.”
The presentation will be followed by a 30-minute question and answer session.
