Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will host Understanding Financial Statements on Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn that financial reports are vital to business profit and that understanding how to apply them is absolutely essential. QuickBooks®, Peachtree, Sage and other sophisticated computerized accounting software are capable of generating mountains of data. Participants will learn how to critically analyze this data to determine their business’s solvency, risk and operating performance. They will also discover how to enhance their management decision-making skills and improve their bottom line by finally understanding those complicated financial reports. The fee to attend is $40 or $35 each for two or more. Coffee/tea set up and light refreshments are included as well as an optional one-year subscription (12 issues) to Inc. magazine, valued at $10.
