SVC Gets Capital Grant for Campus Trolley

Fr. Paul R. Taylor, O.S.B., center, executive vice president of Saint Vincent College, recently accepted a $7,000 Westmoreland County Tourism Capital Grant from Westmoreland County Commissioners Charles Anderson, left, and Tyler Courtney, right, that will be used to assist in purchasing a custom-made, 30-passenger trolley from the Molly Corporation that will provide transportation for visitors to the diverse attractions on campus including the basilica, gristmill, Sis and Herman Dupré Science Pavilion, Fred. M. Rogers Center, Foster and Muriel McCarl Coverlet Gallery, Saint Vincent Gallery, Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve, Monastery Run Improvement Project, Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp, Saint Vincent Summer Theatre and others. Delivery is expected in the spring of 2014.
