Center for Global Competitiveness will host Financial Tools and Techniques for Growing International Sales on Friday, Sept. 20 at Saint Vincent College.
Presenters include Andrea Caralis, senior associate foreign exchange, PNC Capital Markets; Julian Hoberman, international banking, PNC Treasury Management; and Gary Sladek, vice president of international banking.
International trade topics include: benefits of exporting – opportunities and risks, methods of payment in international trade, incoterms, methods of credit overview, documentary collections overview, foreign buyer financing options and IC-DISC. Foreign exchange topics include: currency market overview, exchange rates and foreign wires, benefits of using currency for foreign sales and currency risk management strategies.
This program begins with lunch at 12:30 p.m. and runs until 4:30 p.m. Cost is $50. Early registration is encouraged as seating is limited. Register by calling 724-537-4572.
