Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will host Google Analytics Basics on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to noon at Saint Vincent College.

Participants will learn how Google Analytics can help track website visitor information – how many visitors, content they’re looking for, technical device used to view the site, keywords used to find the site or others like it, where, demographically, the viewers are located and more. This program is designed to provide knowledge of how Google Analytics works and how it can be used to better market a business. It is targeted toward web designers, web analysts, online marketers and business people who want to learn more about how their website really works.

The fee to attend is $40. Coffee/tea set up and light refreshments are included, as well as an optional one-year subscription (12 issues) to Inc. magazine, valued at $10.

Joe Polk, technology specialist consultant, will present. Polk was previously senior technical specialist with PennTAP, web technology specialist with Marconi PLC and web developer with Management Science Associates in Pittsburgh.

Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center is part of a statewide system of university-based economic development organizations, whose mission is to provide high quality education and consulting to entrepreneurs, to help them start and grow their businesses in the competitive global economy. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited. To register or to obtain additional information, contact the Saint Vincent College SBDC at 724-537-4572.
