A 10-second video about Saint Vincent College is now appearing on the CBS Superscreen in Times Square in New York City.

The video, which will run through Monday, March 31, focuses on the Saint Vincent campus and its students and activities – Catholic, Benedictine, liberal arts and sciences education in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania.

The opportunity for New York visibility was made possible by Neutron Media, a media organization that manages sales of screen time for CBS.

“We are proud to have this opportunity to reach 1.5 million people a day with our message of providing a high-quality education in the Benedictine tradition,” commented Suzanne Wilcox English, vice president of marketing and communications. “We are especially fortunate that our message will be seen by the millions more who will be in the city during the holiday shopping season and New Year’s Eve. “

Saint Vincent College officials will be holding a reception for its New York area alumni on Thursday, Jan. 9.

The aptly-named Superscreen is 26 feet wide and 20 feet high and sits under the CBS logo on 42nd St., between 7th and 8th Avenues. Saint Vincent will appear on the screen 10 seconds per hour, delivering 1,620 viewings between December and March.

The video was produced by David Safin of the Saint Vincent College Office of Marketing and Communications. It may also be viewed on YouTube at
