Presenting the first-place grand prize of $5,000 cash and 100 T-shirts on Dec. 17 to Dr. Tracy L. Vitale, second from right, superintendent of Seneca Valley School District, were Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer and Pittsburgh Power owner Lynn Swann, left, Saint Vincent College admission counselor Mara Greiner, second from left, and Trib Total Media president and CEO Ralph Martin, right. Students of Seneca Valley High School, Harmony, were among 19 area schools which produced original videos in a high school lip dub contest sponsored by Saint Vincent College, Pittsburgh Power and Trib Total Media. Runner-up winner of $1,000 cash prize and 100 lip dub T-shirts was Gateway High School, Monroeville. The winners were selected through online voting by nearly 170,000 friends, family and other viewers. A lip dub is a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video by filming individuals or a group of people lip synching while listening to a pre-approved song and then dubbing over it in post-editing with the original audio of the song.
