Robert Casturo of McKeesport, a junior triple major in business management, finance and political science in the Saint Vincent College Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government, has been awarded a $1,000 APICS Supply Chain Management Scholarship.
The award was based on an essay Casturo submitted on supply chain management at his family’s business, Casturo’s Scrapyard in McKeesport, and his future goal to attend law school and earn a juris doctorate degree in corporate law.
He will be the featured speaker at an APICS conference in Pittsburgh at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Market District Giant Eagle in Robinson Township.

Casturo is a member of the Saint Vincent College Activities Programming Board and a team leader, president of the College Republicans, vice president of the Pre-Law Society and vice president of the Fitness Club.
He is the son of Tracy and Robert Casturo of McKeesport.
He is a member of Green Oak United Methodist Church in Green Oak.
