Saint Vincent College has announced that it will again offer graduate classes at Somerset Senior High School that fulfill requirements toward earning a master of science degree in curriculum and instruction or special education.
Classes meet one evening per week for seven weeks. Participants can complete the curriculum and instruction program on site in 15 months or the special education program in 18 months. Classes will be offered in the summer, fall and spring.
The initial course offerings, Current Issues and Trends (Curriculum and Instruction) and Diagnosis and Evaluation of Students with High Incidence Disabilities (Special Education) will meet from 6 to 10 p.m. for seven Tuesdays, May 20, 27, June 3, 10, 17, 24 and July 1 plus one Saturday, June 7.
Courses are offered in accordance with Somerset Area School District contract requirements.
Registration is now under way and will continue until April 15. Classes begin May 20. Custom, part-time and other programs are also available.
An open house will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20 in room 176 of Somerset Senior High School.
