Four English Majors to Attend International Conference

Four Saint Vincent College English students have had essays accepted for the annual International Sigma Tau Delta Conference to be held in Savannah, Ga. Feb. 26 to March 1. Left to right are Joseph A. Carroll, a senior English major from Somerset, “Jake Barnes’ Sacrificial Path to Redemption;” Danielle M. Catalano, a junior English and middle grade education major from St. Marys, “The Best Sneetches on the Beaches: A Marxist Approach;” Evan J. Hrobak, a senior English and philosophy major from Spring Church, “Agentless Absurdity in Invisible Man;” and Bennett T. Summers, a senior English and computing and information science major from Lorton, Va., “Saved by Zero: Robert Cronin as Liberator.” They are all students of Dr. Sara Lindey.
