Seven Seniors Accepted to Law Schools

Seven Saint Vincent College seniors who plan to attend law schools in the fall were recognized at the fourth annual Saint Vincent Law Society Send-Off Luncheon at the college on April 9. Standing, left to right, are Tanner C. Beal, a double major in politics and criminology, law and society, from Hagerstown, Md., who will attend Syracuse University School of Law; Joseph Carroll, an English major from Somerset, who will attend Penn State Dickinson School of Law; Gretchen Panchik, an English major from Worthington, who will attend the University of Dayton School of Law; and Natalie Yanniruberto, a double major in politics and criminology, law and society, from Penn Township, who will attend the South Texas School of Law. Absent from photo were Lila Eid, a double major in criminology, law and society and politics from Martinsburg, W.Va., who has applied to law schools in Florida; Peter Hronis, a history major from Easton, who will attend the Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law; and Felecia Watt, a criminology, law and society major from Blairsville, who will attend the West Virginia University School of Law. Also attending the dinner were Dr. Bruce Antkowiak, professor of law and chair of the criminology, law and society program; Dennis Gilbert, associate director of the career center; Dr. Gabriel Pellathy, professor emeritus of political science; attorney Ned J. Nakles, Jr., SVC’79, of Latrobe; and attorney Gino F. Peluso, SVC’77, of New Kensington.
