Four members of the Saint Vincent College Alpha Chi honor society, which recognizes scholarship of junior and senior students in all academic disciplines, recently attended the group’s national conference in St. Louis and made presentations. Chapter advisor Alice Kaylor, right, dean of studies at Saint Vincent College, accompanied the students, from left, Joshua Gongaware, a senior economics and mathematics double major from North Huntingdon; Courtney James, a senior accounting major from St. Marys; Aliethia McLeod, a junior biology major from Mandeville, Jamaica, and the chapter president; and Joseph Stopansky, a senior economics and mathematics major from Apollo. James and McLeod gave a workshop on collaborating with clubs across campus. Gongaware and Stopansky made presentations on the results of their senior research projects.
