Mary Brady, a rising senior chemistry major at Saint Vincent College from Arona, has been elected president of the senior class which will graduate in the spring of 2015.
Brady, a 2011 graduate of Yough Senior High School, has been active in the Saint Vincent College Student Government Association as a member of the activities programming board for two years and as a residence hall representative.
A member and vice president of the Chemistry Club, Brady is also a member of the Spanish Club and Student Core for Exceptional Children.
Her volunteer activities include serving on the planning committee for sports friendship day, planning committee for the Mr. SVC Pageant Banana Project, cross country manager, track and field manager, peer tutoring and mentoring program. She participates in the Campus Ministry S.W.A.G. (sacrifice, witness, adore and glorify) program.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Brady of Arona, she is a member of the West Hempfield Presbyterian Church in North Huntingdon.
