Honors Convocation Platform Welcomes Dr. Good

Dr. Gregory Good, center, a Saint Vincent College graduate who is director of the American Institute of Physics Center for the History of Physics, was the main speaker and recipient of an honorary doctor of humane letters degree at the annual spring honors convocation at Saint Vincent College on April 23. Welcoming him prior to the ceremony were, from left, Dr. John Smetanka, vice president for academic affairs, Br. Norman W. Hipps, O.S.B., president, Archabbot Douglas R. Nowicki, O.S.B., chancellor, and Fr. Killian Loch, O.S.B., director of campus ministry. Dr. Good’s talk was entitled, “A Life Built on the Liberal Arts.”
