Twenty-four Saint Vincent College students will be studying on three continents this summer, according to an announcement by Sara M. Hart, director of the study abroad program at Saint Vincent.
Through the study abroad program, students of any major can take classes in their major, earn credits for core, complete an internship or study a foreign language. Program length varies from four-week winter break or summer programs to a full academic year.
Students planning foreign study include Natalie Ambrozic, a junior business marketing major from Pittsburgh (15209), marketing internship in London, England; Chris Andrejcik, a junior Spanish/business management major from Greensburg, coursework in Granada, Spain; Christopher Bell, a freshman undecided major from Sewickley, coursework in Madrid, Spain; Amber Brown, a sophomore international business major from Mount Pleasant, Chinese language study in Taiwan; Savannah Butler, a freshman business marketing major from Greensburg, Chinese language study in Taiwan; Susan Costantini, a senior history major from Steubenville Ohio, thesis research in eastern Europe; Kailey Dunmire, a sophomore history major from Zelienople, coursework in Rome, Italy; Fabio Fortunato, a sophomore politics major from Brockway, coursework in Parma, Italy; Maria Jarvis, a junior international business major from Clear Spring Maryland, business internship in Dublin, Ireland; Abigail Kubus, a junior business management major from Pittsburgh (15243), coursework in Valparaiso, Chile; Alison Maurer, a junior Spanish major from Lutz, Florida, coursework in Granada, Spain; Jacob Murtaugh, a junior history major from Holmdel, New Jersey, service with Habitat for Humanity in Hungary; Paige Pecora, a junior Spanish major from Seward, coursework in Valparaiso, Chile; Jennifer Queck, a freshman biology major from Vandergrift, coursework in London, England; Joshua Robinson, a junior biology major from Latrobe, biology internship in Costa Rica; Stephanie Rukavina, a junior early childhood education major from Leechburg, psychology/education internship in Dublin, Ireland; Alex Scialabba, a sophomore criminology, law and society major from Butler, service with Saint Vincent College mission with Fr. Francois; Brandon Snyder, a senior biology major from Laughlintown, coursework in Caribbean Islands; Alexander Sommers, a senior computing and information science major from New Stanton, Chinese language study in Taiwan; Matthew Spirko, a sophomore international business major from Greensburg, Chinese language study in Taiwan; Austin Summers, a junior business marketing major from Lorton, Virginia, Chinese language study in Florence, Milan, Paris and London; Christian Trueax, a sophomore criminology, law and society major from Midland, Georgia, coursework in Valencia, Spain; Nubia Williams, a junior psychology education major from Pittsburgh (15212), psychology/education internship in Dublin, Ireland; and Morgan Zider, a junior psychology major from Mount Pleasant, psychology/education internship in Dublin, Ireland.
