Students to Conduct Research, Expand Knowledge of Their Majors Abroad

Three Saint Vincent College students will be studying abroad in the fall, according to an announcement by Sara M. Hart, director of the study abroad program at Saint Vincent.

Through the study abroad program, students of any major can take classes in their major, earn credits for core, complete an internship or study a foreign language.

Students planning foreign study include the following:

Jacob Murtaugh, a history major from Holmdel, New Jersey, will attend the University of Westminster, London. He will conduct research for his senior thesis, enroll in social science courses and complete an internship.

Julia Hlavacik, a junior psychology major from York, will take courses in psychology, history and intensive Spanish language in Seville, Spain.

Alexander Schwartz, a junior engineering science major from Squirrel Hill, will study at St. Mary’s University College in Belfast, Northern Ireland, during the fall semester.
