Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering the seminar ISO International Product Certifications, Product Standards and Testing, on Tuesday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Saint Vincent College.
The ISO 9001 system provides insight into the efficient function of any business and the processes can be beneficial even if an organization does not plan to become certified to the standard. This session will discuss the ISO 9001 standard in detail along with interactive discussions on how to think from a “systems perspective.”
A presentation by Staci Miller, global director, environmental health and safety, Kennametal Inc., includes a historical overview, interpretation of ISO 9001 system requirements, discussion using sample documents, interactive working sessions on the internal audit process, discussion and guidance on the certification process.
Sam Mastovich, Keystone Compliance LLC will present information on regulatory compliance certification, international certification (examples of requirements in various markets), 10 common mistakes that make compliance testing painful and expensive, mil-std and product-specific testing requirements overview.
The fee for this program is $95, which includes continental breakfast and lunch. Registration is required.
