SVC Psychology Department Plans Career Program

Saint Vincent College Psychology Department, part of the School of Social Sciences, Communication, and Education, will host a career night program at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 1 in the Fred M. Rogers Center on campus.

Presentations will be made by graduates of the psychology program who are currently in graduate school or employed in a variety of career positions.

The speakers will include Margaret (Poole) Knoblock, SVC’05, a school counselor in the Trumansburg School District; Nicole (Haas) Benson, SVC’01, an occupational therapist at Washington Hospital; Jeanine Kelly, SVC’08, a vocational rehabilitation counselor for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation; Brandi Klein, SVC’07, who is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Bowling Green State University; and Melissa Rosinski, C’08, a behavioral specialist consultant for the Westmoreland County Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services agency, Community Alternatives, Inc.

A question and answer session will follow the presentations.

Attendance is free and open to students currently majoring in psychology as well as those who are undecided or pursuing other majors at Saint Vincent or at other colleges. College-bound juniors and seniors in high school and their parents are also welcome.
