SVC Players Rehearse 'Dracula'

Saint Vincent College Players will present the dramatic horror show, “Dracula,” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, October 28 and 29 and Friday, November 4, and at 2 p.m. Sundays October 30 and November 6 in the Performing Arts Center of the Robert S. Carey Student Center on the campus of Saint Vincent College. Shown in rehearsal are Felecia Watt, left, a sophomore political science major from Blairsville, who plays the part of Lucy Westphal, and Fr. Wulfstan Clough, O.S.B., a Benedictine monk and priest of Saint Vincent Archabbey who is also an associate professor of English at Saint Vincent College, who is playing the role of Count Dracula. The show is a version which was adapted by William McNulty and originally dramatized by John L. Balderston and Hamilton Deane from Bram Stoker’s world-famous novel, Dracula. Colleen Reilly is the director. General admission reservations are available in advance by contacting the box office at 724 805-2229. Tickets ($10) will also be available at the door on the day of performance.
